Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 4/20mm "Zebra" lens one of the Carl Zeiss Jena legend. A very few people know it for architectural photography you can't find better lens even if we compare the very expensive Carl Zeiss Distagon lenses. This lens has zero distortion I say this is the must have lens for serious photographers. Mechanically not very well built, but far better than today's plastic craps. This lens has no auto-manual switch or pre-set ring,it has a push button to set the lens in manual mode. Under exposition if you use on digital camera with an adapter ring you must have push this button to close aperture to the right position.On film cameras the auto mechanism works perfect don't need to push.Almost all people think about the latest MC version and less people pay much attention to this lens, this is a big mistake this lens better lens than latest black MC.If you have a chance to grab them take them both and if you disagree with me just sell one of them. As usual these lenses not wait to much time for selling.
Carl Zeiss Jena 銘のひとつ、Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 4/20mm ”ゼブラ” レンズ。非常に少数の人々は、建築写真向けのレンズとして非常に高価なCarl Zeiss Distagonレンズと比べても、より良いレンズを見つけることは出来ないということを知っている。このレンズはまったく歪みが無いため、私は深刻な写真家にMUSTレンズであると言っています。機械的にはあまり良い造りをしていないが、現在のプラスチックのうんこレンズよりはよっぽど良い。このレンズには(絞りの)Auto-Manualスイッチもプリセットリングも無く、Manualモード用で(絞りを)セットする押しボタンがある。デジタルカメラにアダプターリングを装着して使用するときに、露出を合わせるにはこのボタンを押して正しい絞り位置にセットする必要がある。フィルムカメラではAuto機構が完全に働くため、押す必要は無い。ほとんどの人々は、最新のMC（マルチコート）版を考えていて、この（モノコート版の）レンズに注意を払う人は少ない。これは、大きな誤りだ。このレンズは黒のMC版よりも良いレンズだ。もし両方のレンズを手に取る機会があって、私の意見と合わないと思ったら、片方（このレンズ）をすぐに売ることだ。これらのレンズは売られていくまでにそれほど多くの時間が掛からないだろう。
なるほど、このレンズは広角20mmでも歪みが少ないのが利点であるようです。マイクロフォーサーズやAPS-Cで使うなんて台無しということのようです。ぜひいつか、フルサイズで撮ってみたい。ところで、シングルコートの方が良いのはなぜでしょうか。現代のプラレンズはうんこレンズとはよく言ったものです。

This great lens was the highest quality standard lens on Praktica body.This time getting more and more popular,because pretty sharp even at wide open and it has nice "bokeh" and good color rendering.For "reverse mount" macro shooting the best choice you able to make incredible magnification with Pancolar 50mm f/1.8 lens. For example a head of fly can be 1:1 life size macro etc.
この偉大なレンズは、Practicaボディ用の最高品質の標準レンズだった。開放でもとてもシャープで、綺麗なボケとよい色の表現力を持っているため、いまでもますます人気が高まっている。リバースマウントマクロ撮影用にもPancolar 50mm F1.8レンズは最良の選択で、驚くべき拡大率を得ることが出来る。例えば、ハエの頭を1:1の等身大マクロで撮ることが出来る。
確かにスーパーシャープネスレンズだと思います。また、35cmまで寄れるので非常に便利。リバースマクロでハエの頭のような小さなものも大きく写せるそうです。リバースマウント用アダプタを手に入れてみようかなと思います。
Asahi Pentax SMC Takumar 85mm f/1.8 Lens Review
Well know lens, many people says the best lens in Asahi Pentax product line.color rendering, sharpness, "bokeh" just excellent. SMC Takumar 1.8/85mm very well built mechanically, real competitor of another famous lens: Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 1.8/80mm. Perform well as close-up and portrait lens.This lens have full aperture meter coupling (for Spotmatic-F, ES full aperture metering system).It has a little tricky Auto-Manual switch you can switch to any position if lens mounted on right Asahi film camera.In any other situation to change mode need to push a little button on the mount surface.Almost every maker best lenses are in this focal length I have many of them like Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 75mm f1.5, Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 80mm f1.8, Nikon-Nikkor-H 85mm f1.8, Helios-40 85mm f1.5.They have not much quality difference, but each lens has own personality. This Super-Multi-Coated Takumar has the best out focus background "bokeh" from all of them. Biotar 75mm f1.5 the best wide-open performer you can't see any visible difference lens is stopped down or not in sharpness. I have the latest version of Takumar 85mm f1.8 with K-bajonett also, M42 version is significantly better as the price shows on the market.
